My Loyal Friend

My loyal friend, my faithful hound

Your time on earth has come unbound.

I’ll miss your wagging tail and your bark,

And all the time was spent at the park.

You’d greet me every time I’d come,

With a wag, and a lick, and endless fun.

You’d cuddle up right by my side,

And make everything feel alright.

But now you’re gone, and I’m alone,

Without the one that made my house a home.

I’ll always cherish the memories we made,

And hold you close, even in the shade.

Rest in peace, my furry friend,

I’ll always love you, till the very end.
